Brisbane Northside Masters

Brisbane Northside Masters (QBN) meets here at the Valley Pool every Sunday morning at 8:00 am all year round. We offer a coached session on Sundays for all members and guests, and we cater for all abilities with an emphasis on participation and fun.

It’s always good for a catch up after training with a coffee and our regular poolside barbeque breakfasts. We have an active social club organising dinners, bike rides, kayaking and other fun activities.

You just need to be 18yo or over to be a part of Masters Swimming. If you are more competitive, then our club is a gateway to regular competition swim meets all year round.

We welcome you to come along and join us for fitness, fun, & friendship! Just turn up and introduce yourself.

Brisbane Bullsharks

The Brisbane Bullsharks is a freediving club, set up and run by freedivers, for freedivers. Its purposes are to create a safe training environment where divers can thoroughly learn and practice apnea and the technique of the sport — to foster the spirit of continual advancement of knowledge, technique and physical abilities and for those ready, to challenge them to extend themselves, to realise their full potential.

It was set up as a training squad by freediving instructor, Wayne Judge, co-founder of Sydney Freedivers and Curtis Coast Freedivers and when it expanded and become too much for one person to do a good job managing, senior divers of the squad elected to turn it into a freediving club.

All participants will need to be members of the Australian Freediving Association and agree to abide by the rules of safe diving and training. These will be listed here.
